Call for Papers SNATI 2008 Yogyakarta

National Seminar of Information Technology Application or Seminar Nasional Aplikasi Teknologi Informasi (SNATI) 2008 will be held June 21, 2008 at Auditorium Fakultas Teknologi Industri, Universitas Islam Indonesia (UII), Kampus Terpadu UII, Jln. Kaliurang Km. 14,5, Sleman, Yogyakarta, Indonesia.

SNATI is intended to be a forum of knowledge and information dissemination on IT reseach and applications. The seminar held annually since 2004 is expected to involve many parties, including academicians, practitioners, developers, and end-users. This diverse background is expected to bring in a richer perspectives, from practical to managerial to social ones. Interaction among these different perspectives in turn is expected to be able to guarantee the relevance of research on IT to improve human prosperity. Against this backdrop, SNATI 2008 committee invites the interested parties to write and present a paper. The paper will be double-blinded reviewed.

The theme of the seminar is “Increasing Relevance in IT Research and its Application“.

Topics of interest will be applications of IT in different fields includes, but are not limited to the following:

• Government
• Health
• Education
• Tourism
• Economic and business
• Engineering
• Geography

• Full papers submission deadline: April 5, 2008
• Notification of acceptance: May 5, 2008
• Camera-ready papers deadline: May 21, 2008
• Seminar: June 21, 2008
