Open Healthcare to encourage Interoperability
February 27, 2008 – 10:50 am by Dani IswaraThe Eclipse Open Healthcare Framework (OHF), known as a project with the purpose of expediting healthcare informatics technology. The extensible frameworks and tools will build using standard in order to encourage interoperable open source infrastructure. They are currently provide tools and Frameworks (HL7, IHE, Terminology, Devices and Public Healthcare Maintenance).
The Eclipse Foundation, is a not-for-profit corporation formed to advance the creation, evolution, promotion, and support of the Eclipse Platform and to cultivate both an open source community and an ecosystem of complementary products, capabilities, and services. As an open source community, they are focused on providing an extensible development platform and application frameworks for building software.
Currently status of The OHF Project is : in incubation.
