Attention: very old information! :D Firefox is one of the well-known web browser.
Officially, Firefox abbreviation is 'Fx' or 'fx', not 'FF'.. Form previous Mozilla Firefox 1.5 Release Notes page, based on Fx 1.5 FAQ #8:
8. How do I capitalize Firefox? How do I abbreviate it? Only the first letter is capitalized (so it's Firefox, not FireFox.) The preferred abbreviation is "Fx" or "fx".
