No, this is not telling about self-linking in the blog post content, but post title. Clickable link pointing and reloading the current page is useless. Waste the time. Based on Web usability point of view. But some Search Engine Optimization (SEO) users still have it on their pages.
Linking to related posts between your blog networks might help readers or visitors if they have mutual context. More usable if useful internal links pointing to the actual posting rather than tags or categories archive.
What about self-linking in the post title on a single page or post? Is it necessary or not?
Some bloggers have clickable links in their post titles. Others no, based on the above reason. In my opinion, self-linking post title may help users:
To copy the Uniform Resource Identifier/Locator (URI/URL) easily
Try open this current page to another browser using your mouse or touchpad! How many steps/clicks do you need? Usually, it needs 4-5 clicks. Except in Firefox (fx), using right click the current tab, then 'Copy Tab URL'.
Yes, the most simple, just click and drag the tab.
Have no mouse?
With keyboard only, in this case, post title link is very useful also. On disabled Cascading Style Sheet (CSS), tabbing (in fx) the page, find the current link.
To refresh current post/page title, not comment submission
Useful while current comment section would not updated properly. Thanks to Cahya Legawa for the idea.
Remember to make
Distinct Link--my previous post on Dani Iswara .Net.

Bli Dani,
Lumayan membantu Bli, kalau sistem komentar-nya pakai AJAX yang tidak bisa memunculkan komentar secara otomatis setelah diajukan, jadi harus dilihat kembali apa komentarnya sudah masuk atau gagal.
