There are some useful add-ons (themes, plugins, search engine plugins, and extensions) for health/medical-related purposes.
Several of them:

  1. Biobar for some bioinformatics services.
  2. BioFOX, similar to Biobar above.
  3. Calorie Count Toolbar to search for calories and nutrition intake.
  4. FreeLemonade, to help users researchs their medical condition.
  5. HealthVisit, search engine plugin for health resources.
  6. HON Toolbar. It helps health consumers seeing trusted online information. Read my previous post titled HONcode seals on SERPs.
  7. OpenMedSpell. You may read my post, Open Medical Spelling Dictionary.
  8. PinkHope, a theme for breast cancer awareness.

Note that some extensions are only available for older versions of Firefox.
